Material Handler – First Shift

Material Handler – Boyce Highlands seeks a motivated and industrious Material Handler to join their receiving department in Concord, New Hampshire. Material Handlers are instrumental in ensuring quality of the product, as well as optimal machine and facility performance. As a Material Handler, you will load and unload materials and move materials throughout the facility using a forklift.

Primary responsibilities of the Material Handler include:
• Unload and receive incoming trucks.
• Load machinery with raw materials.
• Moves completed pallets to shipping area
• Moves raw materials to staging area.
• Follow good housekeeping procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Execute written instructions/procedures
• Record required data accurately and on a timely basis
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to work in a respectful, team-oriented environment
• Flexible and willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical school and/or prior work experience in manufacturing or directly related field preferred
• Basic math and computer skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, able to climb stairs, withstand repetitive movement and work in a fast pace environment.
• Able to operate motorized forklift.
• Excellent communication skills Able to work outside

SCHEDULE:
Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift. 6 AM to 3:30 PM Monday thru Thursday 6 AM to 10 AM Friday

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
Starting wage is Dependent on experiences. There is the opportunity for overtime. Boyce Highlands offers an excellent benefits package including 401(k) plan, paid holidays, earned vacation, medical, dental.

General Woodworker – First Shift

General Woodworker – Boyce Highlands is seeking an experienced production woodworker, familiar with both the production process, and machinery maintenance. This position is responsible for producing and finishing solid wood products using advanced machinery, hand tools and sanding equipment. Production needs include but are not limited to customer orders, inventory, and product samples.

Primary responsibilities of the General Woodworker include:
• Production assembly of various wood products. Including, but not limited to: window frames, door frames, picture frames, rosettes, or sample materials.
• Order Fulfilment
• Follow good housekeeping procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Execute written instructions/procedures.
• Record required data accurately and on a timely basis.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in a respectful, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
